The Miele KM 6542 FR is a ceramic cooktop with an ExtraSpeed cooking zone. This special zone is 35% faster than the other cooking zones. This is convenient if you quickly want to bring a pot of water to a boil. Do you like using roasting trays? In the upper-right corner, you'll find a roasting zone. This zone is extra long and suitable for roasting trays or grill pans. Because the temperature remains constant, the meat doesn't burn while roasting. The auto heat-up automatically switches to a lower setting once your pot of water is boiling. This mean your rice and pasta will keep boiling without your pot boiling over.
Note: the required 5-pin Perilex plug isn't included. Make sure to order one.
