The Miele DG 2740 is a built-in steam oven that keeps fish, meat, and vegetables healthy, crispy, and tasty. The steam oven has 20 automatic programs to prepare various vegetables. That means you'll always have the right program, and you won't need to set a temperature or preparation time. Want to steam some pumpkin? Dice it, fill the water tank, and choose how you want it to be cooked (al dente, average, or soft). The automatic program will do the rest. To steam meat or fish, use the temperature and preparation time provided in the manual. The same goes for pasta, rice, legumes, and eggs, for example. The steam oven is also suitable for defrosting food or heating up a plate of food.
