The misery: The first stove was delivered; the packaging (plastic cardboard and polystyrene) was intact. The stove itself contained dents and damage to the paint.
The second stove arrived the next day. This was unpacked by Coolblue and also contained (smaller) damage. However, with a discount offered, we decided to keep it.
Connected to the perilex plug and boiled an egg the next day. A simple job, but not.
The touch buttons respond very poorly to our fingers. You always start from 0 to 9/P and it takes a while to get to 9. That action alone was an annoyance. In addition, you almost always need a high setting to keep water boiling (with a lid on). About position 7.
The induction hob also seemed slower than expected. When measuring, none of the burners matched the factory specifications in the manual. The cooker is connected to a 400V, 11kW connection. The highest possible. That shouldn't be a problem.
The oven stands on 4 legs and these legs are not enough to keep the cooker completely stable. You really have to attach it to the wall. The hooks are included, not used.
We didn't use the oven. It's going back, our confidence in the SMEG brand is gone. We're going to choose another brand. I hope we got a Monday morning model and that other people aren't bothered by it.
