With this MacBook I can easily perform the heaviest tasks. Even editing 4K video files in Final Cut Pro and playing games goes without delay. I don't miss a single detail, because the 16-inch screen is sharp and clear. I do find it a pity that I can't take this MacBook with me as easily.
Easy installation and user-friendly
I carefully take the MacBook out of the box and am immediately impressed by the beautiful space black color. At the bottom of the box I see a USB C power adapter, a USB C to MagSafe 3 cable of 2 meters and a booklet. The installation is quick and smooth, as I am used to from Apple. With the migration assistant I easily transfer the data from my old MacBook and I don't lose anything. After the installation I received a message that I can practice with the AI, but due to strict EU legislation these AI functions will not come to Europe until April 2025. Fortunately, I am fully enjoying the new features of macOS Sequoia. For example, I often use the synchronous iPhone display on my MacBook, so that I can easily move documents from my Mac to my iPhone or vice versa.
Smooth photo editing
This MacBook Pro has the powerful M4 Pro chip. This chip allows me to smoothly edit my 4K photo files, which I upload from my camera. Transferring the photos is fast through the Thunderbolt 5 ports. For a good overview, I can easily connect 2 external screens. I am always amazed at how big 16 inches actually is. This is ideal when I want to edit my photos and videos in detail, but unfortunately it makes it a bit more difficult to take it with me. While rendering, I can easily perform other tasks, such as keeping up with my email or watching my favorite series.
More and more game options
I like to game in my spare time. More and more games are available in the App Store, which I find promising. I finished Resident Evil on my MacBook in a few days. I can easily connect my Playstation 5 controller via Bluetooth. I often game while video calling with friends on Discord. Thanks to the 12MP Center Stage camera, I am always in focus. When I fully charge my MacBook, it lasts about 2 days. I do notice that it runs out of battery a bit faster when I game a lot or render my creations.
