I have been using the Samsung Galaxy A36 as my daily smartphone for a while now and I like it. For this price you really get a lot, a nice screen, a good camera and a battery that lasts all day.
Nice and clear screen
The screen immediately caught my eye. The colours look nice and the brightness is more than enough, even when I am outside. I often watch YouTube or scroll on Instagram, it all looks neat. The speed is high enough to scroll smoothly.
Takes great photos
The camera of the A36 works well when I take photos of a landscape or a building outside. With the wide-angle lens I get everything in the photo. The colours come across nicely and the photos look clear. As soon as I zoom in or take a portrait photo, I notice that the details are less sharp. It is fine for quick snapshots, but don't expect top quality for portraits.
Pleasant to use
The A36 feels light and fits comfortably in the hand. Everything works as you would hope, apps start up quickly enough. Switching between apps is usually smooth, such as from Instagram to TikTok. With heavier apps or games you sometimes have to wait a while, but for daily use it is completely fine.
Lasts a long time on one charge
I don't have to worry about the battery. With sending messages, watching videos, taking photos, I easily get through the day. Sometimes even longer. Charging does take a bit longer than with more expensive models. It takes a bit longer than an hour to fully charge your smartphone.
Affordable device
What I especially appreciate is that you get a lot of quality for your money. The device looks nice, does what it is supposed to do and feels reliable. Of course, it is not a top model, but for the price it is a smart choice.
