After a few weeks with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, I quickly noticed how convenient the flip design is, how beautiful the screen looks, and how often I use the small screen for quick tasks. For some apps and longer messages, you do have to unfold the smartphone first.
Compact but complete
What I love about the Galaxy Z Flip 7 is how easily it fits in my jacket or pants pocket. Folded, it's nice and small, so I can take it everywhere without it taking up much space. Ideal if you're often on the go or don't want to carry a large phone in your pocket.
Great screen for shows and videos
I love watching shows and videos on my phone, especially when I'm on the train or waiting somewhere. The internal screen is bright, sharp, and the colors pop. Even in bright light, it remains clearly visible. When I unfold it, I immediately have a nice, large screen in my hands. It's great for catching up on an episode in peace. Unfortunately, there's no charger included in the box, so you'll have to buy one separately.
Handy second screen
What I wouldn't want to miss is the small screen on the outside. I use it to quickly check an app, see what time my train leaves, or swipe through my Spotify playlist. Even when I have to transfer, I use the small screen to send a quick message or check my route. It works smoothly and saves time because I don't have to open it every time. The front screen is now larger than on previous models. While waiting, I can simply continue watching my series or videos there. The image quality is surprisingly good, even on the small screen. On the train, I place the phone open in front of me so I can watch hands-free. That's convenient. However, I always have to open it for some apps and longer messages, which can be inconvenient.
Great camera with smart features
I love taking photos with the rear camera, even if I want a selfie. Because I can see myself on the small screen on the front, I know exactly what it will look like before I take the picture. With a wave of my hand, I can easily take a selfie without touching the button. That works well, especially when I put the phone down for a group photo.
Comfortable in the hand
The Flip 7 is a bit longer than other phones, so I sometimes have to shift my hand a bit. Yet, it's not uncomfortable to hold because it's thin and light. As a result, it never feels bulky, and I can easily use it one-handed. This is especially beneficial if you have smaller hands.
