I do not use the supplied base station, but use the DECT of a FritzBox. As always with a Gigaset, registration is smooth. I had already read that the screen saver clock takes quite a bit of battery, but not on the charger, this clock turns off by itself. So that's a nice bonus. The only drawback is that if the screen goes black, you have to press a button to get "image". Often you are automatically in a menu or selection list. I think that could have been a bit more convenient: screen black = first press image on and no "action". That's why ease of use 3 stars.
