After many years of Senseo with a separate small espresso machine, switched to this Delonghi. Mainly because we are replacing two appliances for one (small countertop in the kitchen) and because the pad system for the Senseo is not really cheap (when drinking a lot of coffee) That is why the Nespresso system with the (ridiculously) expensive cups was absolutely not an option.
I can be short: this device is a REVELATION !
It took a while to find the perfect coffee (bean) for us and play with the settings, but the result is (again, sorry :-) ) worth it. Enjoy time and time again! At a certain point we were without coffee beans (and the shops closed of course), so we brought out the Senseo again. I must confess that neither of us have finished our bags.
