I bought this TomTom to use my phone as little as possible. I regret it immensely.
The big screen isn't the reason; it's just as big as a phone screen. You can't count on Wi-Fi or Bluetooth; if you try to select those options, the system crashes. So, restart the device? Then you'll literally spend hours (about 6) wondering if you need to do a hard reset after a software update. The map update won't work anymore either. Asking for support from the TomTom helpdesk? Forget it! You get the AI chatbot that misinterprets pretty much everything you say, and you won't be able to connect with anyone who can actually help you in a hundred years.
Then the final question arises: why am I going through so much trouble when there are apps that actually work, and are free, too? In short: just keep that money in your pocket, or throw it over the fence to your neighbors. Then you will enjoy it even more than with this junk.
