I was energy-efficient with the Wisberg WBDW42BW freestanding dishwasher. My plastic containers also come out dry, because the dishwasher door opens. I easily arrange the dishwasher as I want and choose from the different options and programs. I do have to figure out what all the symbols mean.
First impression
The dishwasher opens easily via the handle. I choose the programs via the symbols on the touch buttons. However, the first few times I have to look in the manual to see what each symbol means exactly. What also immediately strikes me is the intensive space at the bottom of the dishwasher. I usually don't load the dishwasher immediately after eating. As a result, there are often caked-on food residues in my oven dishes. Fortunately, that is not a problem with this dishwasher, because I can easily clean my oven dishes in the intensive zone. Handy, because I no longer have to rinse everything first. The top basket also has an intensive zone. I easily place tall glasses or water bottles over the special sprayers and click on the bottle function. This allows me to get my dishes out of the dishwasher extra clean.
Save energy while washing dishes
After a long day at work, I don't feel like doing the dishes. That's why I put all my dishes from the day in the dishwasher. However, I still want to save as much energy as possible with the high energy prices. Thanks to energy label B, I spend less money each year. Great, because I do a large load of dishes every day. I save the most energy with the eco program. At just over 3 hours, this is relatively fast compared to other dishwashers. So I also turn it on during the day.
Also completely dry plastic
To save time during the week, I often cook large portions for the freezer. That's why there are several plastic containers in the dishwasher during every wash cycle. These are usually not completely dry when I empty my dishwasher. Fortunately, they are with this Wisberg dishwasher. The door opens automatically at the end of the program. My dishes dry faster and more energy-efficiently because of the cold air in my kitchen. This means I no longer dry plastic with a tea towel, but put them in the cupboard straight away.
Handy layout
I also really like the layout of the dishwasher. For example, it has a cutlery drawer and a cutlery basket. The cutlery drawer is spacious enough for large serving spoons and skimmers. I use both at the weekend, because we were home for every meal and we used extra cutlery. Do I cook extensively and do I have a lot of large pans and dishes? Then I take out the cutlery basket, so that I have extra space in the lower basket.
