The Bosch KGN33NWDA fridge-freezer has plenty of space for my daily groceries. When I have visitors, my drinks are quickly chilled thanks to Super Cooling. The freezer compartment is a bit small, but it stays ice-free with NoFrost, so defrosting is unnecessary.
First impression
When I open the refrigerator, I'm struck by its compact layout. I have just enough space for a large bag of groceries. I arrange cartons of milk, yogurt, and mascarpone on the shelves. These adjustable shelves make room for a large pot of soup, which is handy for my birthday. I can easily adjust the refrigerator temperature using the clear display. This also activates the door alarm. If the door is left open for too long, an alarm sounds. I've noticed that I put my groceries away more quickly from now on, which saves energy.
Drinks quickly chilled
When I come home from the supermarket, my drinks are cold faster. I activate the Super Cooling function via the display. When I have visitors, I serve my white wine nice and chilled. The freezer compartment also has a similar function. With super freezing, I quickly freeze my sorbet, and the texture stays creamy. I'm also happy that it's evenly cold everywhere thanks to MultiAirflow. This distributes the cold air evenly. I also put my stick of butter at the top.
MultiBox drawer
I put fruit and vegetables in the MultiBox crisper drawer. It has a corrugated base, which keeps apples, pears, and cucumbers fresh a little longer. The corrugations in the base allow the cold air to flow more easily along the bottom of my fruit and vegetables. My produce also never sits in a layer of moisture, which reduces mold growth.
No defrosting required
The freezer compartment only has room for a few pizzas, ice cream, and snacks, but it stays ice-free. Thanks to NoFrost, I don't have to defrost these. The drawers slide shut smoothly. I can also read the label on my bitterballen (croquettes) more easily because they don't accumulate a thick layer of ice. This way, I know exactly what temperature I'm setting the oven to. I use the EasyAccess shelf for items I reach for frequently. For example, I like to eat ice cream in the evening, and I can easily reach it.
Wine bottles
What this refrigerator doesn't have is a bottle rack. I simply place my wine bottles on the shelf. My bottles roll a bit faster, so I wedge them between my other groceries. Because there's no rack, I can stack more easily on the other shelves. This way, I organize my refrigerator efficiently.
