As a practice nurse, I recommend this blood pressure monitor for people who keep track of their blood pressure at home. The price-quality ratio is actually unmatchable. Unlike some alternatives, I have found that this meter actually consistently inflates to no more than about 20mm/Hg above blood pressure. That causes physical discomfort, I also come across meters that inflate to well above 200mm/Hg, which is not necessary and uncomfortable for most people.
By not inflating too hard, the meter is also quite fast (what doesn't go in doesn't have to come out again - slowly). The better one is economical in use, batteries last a long time. It is small and weighs little, so when I go on a home visit, the meter can easily be taken with me in my bag.
The negative point I would like to mention is that the cuff (for around the arm) does not have a very wide range. If the circumference of the upper arm is greater than 32 cm, the chance of a false high blood pressure measurement increases significantly, as does the discomfort during use.
