I hesitated for a long time about buying a washer-dryer. I heard quite a few stories about long cycle times and read some rather critical reviews. Such hesitation was a real shame. I've now run a few loads of laundry and dried a few, and the results are better than with my separate dryer. It washes much quieter, and dries much quieter. And it doesn't turn my utility room into a steam room, which my previous separate dryer did. The controls are incredibly simple; you don't have to read the manual first to figure out how to use them; they're super intuitive. And it looks sleek, too, although that's not the most important thing. And the price? That's only if you load it with cotton, and even then it STILL doesn't take longer than the combined cycle times of my old washer and dryer. In fact, if you set it correctly, it takes SHORTER, AND there are several short wash and dry programs. So don't hesitate, it's a relief to put a load of laundry in in the morning before work and take it out dry again in the evening when you feel like it.
