No, that doesn't matter. You can switch to Coolblue Energy or buy a suitable dryer first. The order isn't important.
How does Free Drying work?
Your dryer consumes energy. Thanks to a smart connection to our partners, we can measure exactly how much energy you consume while drying. This is possible with brands like Samsung or Beko, that work with SmartThings or HomeWhiz. After you give them permission, they share this data with us. You can see your personal consumption in your My Coolblue environment within 3 days.
Which energy contract do I need?
You need an energy contract from Coolblue Energy. Free Drying works with a dynamic contract and a fixed contract. With a dynamic contract, you can see the discount on your invoice. With a fixed contract, you receive a separate invoice.
How does Free Drying with solar panels work?
We'll settle the energy that your dryer consumes as a discount. Even when you're using your own solar power.
What if my dryer cycle falls outside the 12:00 to 15:00 period?
Only the part between 12:00 and 15:00 is free. You pay the regular energy rate for the energy you consume before 12:00 or after 15:00.
I already have a dryer. Can I dry for free with it?
Check if your dryer is part of Free Drying. Is your appliance on the list? You can dry for free between 12:00 and 15:00 with an energy contract from Coolblue Energy.
