Have had this TomTom for a week now. Had a heart rate monitor with chest strap from Garmin. On the advice of family now made the switch to TomTom.

My first experience is that the watch is easy to use. Upon receipt, I hooked it up to the computer and updated the software (and charged it at the same time). Created a TomTom MySport account and linked it directly to my Strava. All in all I went for a run with this watch an hour after receiving it.

The pulse measurement of the heart rate works well, but without the inconvenience of a chest strap. Picked up the GPS signal faster than I was used to.

In daily use, the watch helps you to remember your goals (eg your number of steps, or the moving time). A nice gimmick, but probably something I won't be using any time soon.

I have also been swimming with the watch. A weird idea to swim with electronics. Get used to it quickly, though, and the watch, if properly set to the length of the pool, will be fine when you've completed another lap. No heart rate is recorded while swimming.

I will also use the watch during fitness, spinning and future winter sports holidays. I can't write about this yet, but I expect positive experiences. All in all, the watch therefore has many uses.

I'm going to try the music function, because I don't have bluetooth earbuds yet. I think it would have been nice if these were included, especially considering the price.
