According to our mouse expert
The Logitech G403 Prodigy Corded is an adjustable gaming mouse which looks good on your desk and makes every click count. Thanks to its mechanical springs, every click and every ingame action is registered and performed faster than regular buttons do, no matter how often you click. The included 10-gram mouse weight ensures the mouse feels comfortable in the hands of every gamer. You can also switch between different DPI settings up to 12,000DPI while gaming. This way, you'll always be slightly quicker or more accurate than your opponents. You can choose in which of the 16.8 million colors you wish the mouse to light up today. You can save the mouse settings on the integrated memory, so the sensitivity and color settings are always correct.

After a week of using this product for daily gaming, I am very satisfied with it. This mouse is extremely accurate and lies well in the hand.
The given minus is in principle not a minus as a wire was just a must for me. Wireless gaming is over for me from now on, just getting used to it again.
With the accompanying software (Logitech gaming software), you can completely customize the mouse to your own thing:
Highly recommended!

The first thing you notice about this mouse is the design. A good grip mouse, finished with a matte black finish and rubber grips on the side and subtle RGB lighting. So you can easily use it in the office without making a fool of yourself, which cannot be said of certain other gaming mice.
The material in the mouse is also top notch. With the Pixart PMW3366 sensor and the mechanical switches under the mouse buttons you can say with certainty that it is only your own fault if you shoot just next to the enemy's head in-game. The sensor 'tracks' your movements without making a single mistake and all mouse buttons feel nice and responsive and make a pleasant (but not too loud) click sound. Even after several sweaty hours of gaming, the comfort of this mouse remains top notch. The G403 weighs around 90 grams (and comes with an optional 10 gram weight) and is therefore also ideal for FPS gaming, where you have to make a lot of fast movements and a heavy mouse is not ideal. The only downside I could find with the performance of the mouse is that the middle mouse button is a bit too stiff to press, but otherwise it's a lot of fun with the G403.
So if you're looking for a gaming mouse that you can also use for other purposes with the best technology of the moment without any problems, the Logitech G403 is the right choice for you. Highly recommended for any gamer.

For years I had a Logtech M500. I have had it for over 8 years and I was very satisfied with it. The nice thing about that mouse was the size (I have quite large hands) and the design, so that your hand and thumb lay well over it.
Despite the intensive use for 8 years, that mouse only now started showing problems due to buttons that no longer worked properly (speaks for the quality of Logitech as far as I'm concerned). In the meantime, I had also been bothered by the not so precise sensor for a while, which was very disturbing when working with images in detail. I also noticed that the weight was just too little, so you moved the mouse just too much for fine actions. So I was looking for a new mouse, preferably the same in shape, with a better sensor and heavier. After deliberation between various mice (including another M500 and mice especially for gaming with more buttons and more adjustable weight) I came to the G403. I liked the simplicity, the small number of buttons and the color.
It didn't disappoint when I unpacked and plugged in the mouse. The size is almost the same as my old M500. In terms of material, the mouse also exudes a qualitative solidity, just like my old one. The buttons click very nicely. The greater stiffness of the scroll wheel took some getting used to.
The lighting also took some getting used to, which changes color continuously without using the Logitech software that you can download (I haven't used the software myself yet). I like the responsiveness of the mouse on the screen. You can also change the speed of the mouse pointer on the mouse itself with the button directly behind the scroll wheel (4 positions), making it from very slow to very fast and so you have to move the mouse a lot or very little.
I use the 10g weight that is included. Without it, the mouse is really too light for me; in weight it is slightly heavier than my old M500. I would even like to be able to add 5 to 10 grams extra, but I don't really miss that in the meantime (week in use).
I don't regret this mouse! In terms of color (black), it also fits better with my keyboard and desktop (both black). And no longer only my keyboard is illuminated, but now also the mouse. (I didn't have to, but it doesn't bother me.) I'm definitely going to try the mouse software again.
