According to our keyboard expert
Place first at every LAN party with the Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard without numerical keypad. Thanks to its removable cable and the compact, 'tenkeyless' design, you can easily take the keyboard with you. You can configure macros and lighting settings with the Logitech Gaming Software and bring them along using the integrated memory. The keystrokes on the Logitech Romer G switches give haptic feedback and a higher actuation point than similar switches, which ensures quicker in-game responses. In addition, you won't be bothered by 'light bleeding', so the key will stay brightly lit without projecting its light onto any of the surrounding keys. During gameplay, you can use the game mode to make sure that you won't accidentally minimize your game at a critical moment.

I had an Asus Rog Claymore before this, about one of the most expensive and high-end keyboards I could get at the time. unfortunately the software was mediocre and it was somehow too extensive for my taste.
I am extremely satisfied with this board, a great simple design with a lot of details under the plate that you can't see until the great bright light comes on that doesn't leak under the keys like with most cherry switches.
The Romer-G switches are wonderful but can take some getting used to, because you have no effect if the key jumps back from pressing, which also immediately eliminates the effort for your fingers for even faster response time. Played some nice games of battlefield 1 with this lad and it's fun.
I also really liked the built-in profiles of the Logitech software, which it automatically applies after you let the PC scan for games. For example, in Battlefield 1 you have the w,a,s,d keys lit up and other action keys, R starts flashing when you need to reload, and the keyboard turns red when you die, green when a gas grenade goes off, etc. Very cool idea and it also has a practical function, so not just a gimmick.
The Logitech software is great, many options and easy to manage. I thought it was strange that the keys can be colored independently of each other, but you cannot apply separate lighting effects to the keys in the software, for example make some keys blink and others breathe. However, you can use Aurora's software for this and Logitech also offers SDK packages for developers, so enough diversity. (maybe there will be a patch too)
Wonderfully compact design with a sturdy metal back plate (front metal would be even better), nice matte top that doesn't allow finger marks, and the keys feel nice with the coating on them. The gaming key and lighting key are a good addition and quick to press because they have their own place.
I think this is the gaming keyboard for 2017 if you want one of the best gaming keyboards in a compact size with a good software package and beautiful lighting and extra functions. I'm not even talking about the Romer-Gs. Logitech makes really nice products, very satisfied.
Thanks also for the delivery that took place for me on the same day (for an extra amount) that was great!

This keyboard is compact and stable. Has everything you expect for this price, except a numpad of course.
