I bought it because it was the only 65" TV that wasn't smart. I don't want a smart because I don't think there is one with really good software yet.
I am very happy with the TV I have an HTPC on it with Linux and it runs at 1920x1080 pixels which is very fine.
The TV is also not a super 4k ultra mega HD nonsense TV, but that is of no use to you either. You really just get value for money. And I'm very happy with the image quality. You can also attach a standard (no 4k chromecast, that's nonsense) chromecast. That also produces a perfect picture.
The sound is fine. I am satisfied with it. It has no weird tones, echoes or shrill sounds, but you also notice that it is not the best of the best. Maybe one day I'll put a soundbar under it, but it's not really necessary. But again you can really watch TV with it.
