A smart TV is a television with an internet connection. This gives you access to useful apps, missed broadcasts and streaming services such as Netflix and YouTube. The operating system for these smart functions varies by brand. The better-known platforms are Tizen by Samsung, Android by Sony and Philips, WebOS by LG and my Home Screen by Panasonic.
