High-end all-rounder for work and home use

Once you've had an Eizo, you won't want anything else. I think the color reproduction, the contrast and the viewing angles of these panels are great. As well as the low minimum brightness in combination with the light sensor. It adjusts the brightness based on the ambient light. During the day it works much more pleasantly, you get less tired. The screen also works wonderfully in dark rooms, because the minimum brightness can be very low.

In terms of ergonomics, you have nothing to complain about. The screen is tiltable and very spacious in height adjustable. Very pleasant! Cable management on the back of the foot is also fine. And the screen also functions as a USB hub. Useful!

The screen has sufficient connections. DisplayPort, HDMI and USB-C. The latter also offers Power Delivery so that your laptop is immediately supplied with power: one cable for everything. In my own set-up I use the USB-C cable for my work laptop and in the evening I quickly switch to the HDMI input to play a game on the desktop :) With an adapter from USB-C to USB-A can I still use the USB-Hub functionalities in the screen in combination with the desktop (which is a bit older and does not yet have USB-C).

I bought this EIZO as a monitor for my 13-inch macbook pro and use it for programming every day. 4k text is too small for programmers in their late 30s or later, but this EIZO is Full HD (1920x1080), so it is presbyopia friendly. Also, when programming, a monitor of around 24 inches is better than a wide type for games, so my neck doesn't get tired. And this EIZO also has a pivot function. There is no wobble in the base, it's massive, and the back sight design is very well thought out to keep the cables out of the front, which is cool. As expected, it is made in Japan! Anyway, since I started using this monitor, my eyes are less tired at the end of the day. On the other hand, professional CG designers may prefer a monitor with sharper and more vivid colors. Nonetheless, this EIZO has no problem for enjoying YouTube!
