When I unpacked the POS Lite, I immediately noticed how clearly everything was packaged. I didn't have to look up a manual to know where to start. I connected the cables, turned on the screen and within five minutes I was able to get started. Everything worked immediately, without the hassle of extra apps or long installations.
Works easily
The touchscreen works smoothly and clearly. I quickly select products, pay and print a receipt. The software is clear and only works with SumUp, so everything fits together well. Even if you have never worked with a cash register system before, you will quickly get the hang of it. You can easily create your own products and add variants just as quickly. I personally found it useful that you can click on sizes and flavours directly as options.
Compact and mobile-friendly
The POS Lite is ideal for small entrepreneurs who want a fixed payment location, without a complicated system. The card reader (SumUp Solo) is included and works smoothly with the cash register screen. For physical receipts or a cash register drawer, you can expand later with separate accessories.
Power and Wi-Fi required
What I did notice: you always need a power outlet and Wi-Fi. That was not a problem for me, because I work at a fixed location. But if you want to use the POS Lite on your mobile, you really have to make sure you have power and a stable internet connection. Fortunately, the system also works well via a hotspot on my phone.
Get started quickly.
I found the POS Lite to be a nice and easy solution. No monthly costs, clear software and everything you need is in the box. My payments are in my account within a few days, and with a SumUp Business Account even on the same day. I did not expect to be able to get started so quickly, but it just worked straight away.
