With the Whirlpool AKZ9 6290 NB, I can put my favorite dishes on the table in no time thanks to the 6th Sense technology.
Automatic programs This Whirlpool oven has 16 automatic programs. I first thought, how am I supposed to choose the right program with so many options? Fortunately, the oven helped me with this. When I selected the 6th Sense function, the sensors measured the weight and indicated the correct settings for the dish. In addition, I was positively surprised by the Cook3 function. This function ensures that the oven prepares 3 different dishes without the smell and taste influencing each other. I thought it would be ideal to prepare your main course and dessert at the same time, for example, without my cake tasting like my lasagna.
Ready2Cook Another big advantage for me was that the oven reached the right temperature very quickly thanks to the Ready2cook function. I put my cakes in the oven and chose the turbo convection program. Then I selected the thermometer on the right and within 5 minutes the oven was at the desired temperature of 190 degrees. The oven indicated with a beep that the temperature had been reached. I set the timer and after 10 minutes I could enjoy my delicious chocolate cakes. In between I pressed the lamp icon once. This gave me a good view of my dish without opening the oven door.
Service The oven door opened easily. When I closed the oven again, I was afraid that it would slam shut, but the soft closing system automatically braked the door. The control panel consisted of 1 central rotary knob, 6 touch keys and 2 displays. If I wanted to choose the more specific cooking programs, I had to select the cooking hat with the 'S' on the left.
