With the Kärcher SP 22.000 Dirt Level Sensor, you can drain clean and dirty water up to 8m deep. The powerful submersible pump has a 22.000L/h extraction rate and can handle dirt particles of up to 30mm. This means you can use it in large ponds, at construction sites, and in case of floods in the basement without clogging. The pump can drain water down to a 35mm level, so there's always a small layer of water left. Thanks to the level sensor, the pump starts automatically when it touches water. A sturdy wastewater pump. Used here to empty a rainwater cistern. Due to the high head from the cistern, the pump initially needs some time to pump the water upwards. I sucked this up with a Kärcher all-purpose vacuum (never crawl into a cistern unattended!!!), poured it into a garden bucket, and let the wastewater pump pump it upwards as well. To my delight, this worked without a hitch! Extremely happy with my purchase. This allowed me to completely clean and flush my rainwater cistern myself; if you hire a company to do this, you'll be paying through the nose. So, I've more than recouped the purchase price of the pump after just one use. I immediately threw away my cheap submersible pump, which made noise but didn't do anything.
