Its a big screen, whil a little less bright than the lcd led i replaced it does have a lot better color and black values. The mla panel gives quality picture, the tv actively will optimise vision and sound, which is great
The Ambilight was not a prime reason to pick this one but i do like it now
The tv has a bar with speakers on the bottom with speakers, the supports for the screen are quite central and high so putting a soundbar in front of it won't work you can get Philips own side speakers and subwoofer but anything else would have issues
Google tv works as always it does have some bloatware you can't get rid of canal plus and some nft etc apps philips lugs in, would not be an issue except the internal storage is about 5 gb left, so you will need a usb stick
The remote is quite weak, it has the issue with modern ones in not having a number pad but it is also black with gray text which is difficult to read. The control pad has ,8 directions which will go wrong once in a while but the main gripe is that even though it connects though bt it is as directional as a 70s ir remote which means you have to aim it directly at the screen
