With the Wisberg WBWM1400A8WNB I was quiet and energy efficient. Thanks to the steam function, I remove allergens and bacteria from my clothes, so I don't suffer from itching.
First impression
The washing machine has a luxurious appearance. The sleek, black display and silver rotary knob stand out extra well. The dial rotates smoothly and I can easily select one of the programs around it. Thanks to the LED light that rotates, I can clearly see which program I choose. I set the other settings on the touch display, such as the temperature and the number of spin speeds. I shorten almost every program with the boost button. Handy if I want to clean a full drum of clothes faster. For a really quick wash, I choose the short 45'/15' program. This allows me to wash a small load of laundry in 45 or 15 minutes. The detergent drawer is on the other side of the dial. I open the detergent drawer smoothly using the notch at the bottom. However, it does feel less sturdy.
Quiet during washing and spinning
The first thing I notice while washing is how quiet the washing machine is. When the machine just starts rinsing, I can barely hear it being turned on. It is also much quieter during the spin cycle than I am used to. Handy, because it allows me to do laundry when I'm working at home or when my daughter is sleeping. Even late in the evening I can easily do laundry without worrying about it bothering the neighbors.
Removes allergens and bacteria with steam
I have sensitive skin, so it is important that my laundry is properly clean. That is no problem with this washing machine. With the 'Steam hygiene' program, the machine adds steam at the end of the program. This removes allergens, pollen and animal hair. Great, because I no longer suffer from itching and skin irritations. Other useful programs also make washing a lot easier. The anti-stain function removes many types of stains, such as oil and grass. Handy, because with a small child at home I regularly have clothes with stains.
Energy efficient thanks to energy class A
I do quite a lot of washing during the week. With 2 adults who exercise weekly and an enterprising toddler who plays outside a lot, 8 washes per week are normal. That's why I think it's important that I don't use too much energy while washing. Fortunately, thanks to energy class A, I save on my energy bill.
