After this, ironing is a lot faster! Where we live the water has an average hardness. Towels, despite good fabric softeners, were stiff after washing. Now with the water softener I don't have to worry about that anymore. You can easily add the salt via the detergent drawer. It is useful to check the water hardness in your area and adjust it on the device, so that the correct amount of salt is set.
