Description

The Inventum OV226C has a 22-liter capacity and can reach a temperature up to 220°C. The oven has a setting for upper and lower heat in the fan oven, and only lower heat. You can use the defrost function to defrost things like puff pastry. The oven slowly thaws the puff pastry, but doesn't cook it yet. After the defrost function has done it's job, your dough is smooth and you can make puff pastry snacks. You can use the fan oven function to cook the food. To set a time, you can set the timer to a maximum of 60 minutes. The oven will switch off automatically.

"Plastic smell"

Felipe Fischmann | 28 November 2019 | In the version: Entry model

  • Pros:
    Silent
  • Con:
    Smell

This oven is fine, except for one thing: the kitchen and living room smell like plastic when it's used. The manual says the smell is normal on the first time one runs it - well, I've used it dozens of times and the smell is still there. Right now I tend to open the window, but I'll probably get rid of it at some point out of fear of cancer on the long-run.
