Bought to replace an older model 15 inch Macbook Pro Retina. This one was mainly used for youtube and browsing. In the end, hesitating between the Surface Pro 7 (with i5) or the Surface Pro X, but ultimately opted for the option with the better screen. I don't run any heavy applications, because I always use my desktop for that.
There is currently a beta version of the Edge browser that is optimized for this processor, but it is not completely stable yet. In the end I just run chrome now, I don't notice any difference in speed and it works just fine. Older games like warcraft 3 also work just fine.
