I've been using Fitbit's activity trackers for almost ten years, and of course always want the latest. Now also the Fitbit Luxe, after I had the Charge 4. The design has changed quite a bit - in my opinion a little less beautiful. I liked the sporty aspect of Charge 4. The Luxe just looks 'cheaper' in a certain way (which is not the intention, I think ;). It's also a shame that the button on the side of the Fitbit has disappeared. I found that easy to use to turn the screen on/off, or to turn the sleep mode on/off with a long press. Now you have to tap the screen, which is less responsive. Furthermore, the screen is very bright and for the first time in color. In terms of this screen is more readable than the previous editions (also in sunlight). The strap is better than that of the Charge 4. The strap of the Luxe is very soft and supple.
The only other new feature is measuring your stress level. This can only be seen if you have Fitbit Premium and does not add much. It is determined on the basis of the balance between movement and relaxation, your heart rate and your sleep. In itself I am satisfied with this Fitbit Luxe, but that is more because I have always been satisfied with measuring my heart rate, sleeping rhythm, tracking my sports activities and of course the daily steps.
