I think the big mistake is that it is not clear whether you have the pan in exactly the right place, it just takes some getting used to, I hope. Some thin dotted lines indicate where exactly the pan should be placed. When the pan is on the plate, you really have to look at those few small dots that emerge from under the pan. Simply making circles where the pan should be placed inside would have been much clearer, too bad. My house had an unused power connection, and it can operate on 400V. So have it! When cooking normally, one burner draws around 1300W, I saw, and in fact I never cook on more than 2 burners. Even just 230V would have been sufficient for me, it seems, ha... After a week of cooking, no further problems and I'm fine. Can recommend induction to everyone.
