I've looked at a number of these drawers and most of them seemed rather rickety to me. Slap plastic, poorly running glides and the potential to rattle. Something that I do use every day turns into daily irritations.
This drawer gives more confidence. It is a wooden shelf in metal rails (real rails, not two L-profiles) with a plastic front, which is mounted in a sturdy metal frame. The drawer slides out smoothly and is absolutely sturdy enough to hold a laundry basket with wet laundry. The machines are also firmly on top of each other, especially with the tension belt it stands like a house and the whole does not rattle, even when the washing machine is spinning.
Furthermore, the drawer is very useful in practice. Of course when emptying the dryer, but it is also easy to fold something.
The downside is that although it looks decent, it doesn't really make it nicer. The whole is a few mm. too wide for my washing machines so it sticks out a bit on the sides. The front is then a bit too shallow and the gap between the drawer and the dryer is larger than the gap between the drawer and the washing machine. That's the price you pay for a universal part I think..
