This Bosch washing machine is very spacious and easily washes all my bedding in one wash. i-DOS automatically adds the right amount of detergent and softener. Useful! Although it is not possible to use 2 types of detergent next to each other, which is the case with i-DOS 2.0. In addition, I hardly have any ironing work thanks to the steam function. This machine saves me a lot of work. Ideal.
First impression
The first thing that strikes me about this Bosch washing machine is the silver-colored display and the matte black details in the control knob and the drum door. These give the washing machine a sleek appearance. The dial feels solid and gives a clear click when I turn it to a program. The machine turns on as soon as I select a program. I set each program on the display on the right. The machine can hold up to 9 kilograms of laundry. I generally don't wash that much except when I was a week load or wash all my bedding at once.
SpeedPerfect
I see on the display that the washing machine has the SpeedPerfect function. This allows me to easily shorten a washing program. This is useful when, for example, I run a cotton program, but do not want to wait 3 hours for a clean wash. When I touch the SpeedPerfect button, the cotton cycle is down to 1.5 hours. I can even shorten the 30-minute Super Short program to 15 minutes. This is how I quickly freshen up my worn shirt before I have to leave this afternoon. The washing machine washes very quietly, even during the spin cycle. That's nice, because I don't have much trouble with noise in my small home.
i DOS
The washing machine doses my detergent completely automatically. In the detergent drawer I see 3 different compartments. I fill the 2 flaps on the right with a large amount of detergent and fabric softener. When I start a washing program, I select the i-DOS function on the display. Now the washing machine itself calculates how much detergent and softener is needed for my 2 work shirts. Unfortunately, the machine does not have i-DOS 2.0. This means that I do not use the fabric softener reservoir for a second type of detergent.
IronAssist
I'm not the biggest fan of ironing myself. That is certainly one of the reasons that this washing machine is at the top of my list. The machine has an IronAssist program. This program does not wash my clothes, but removes wrinkles with drum movements and steam. After the program I see that the wrinkles have really reduced considerably, although they have not all disappeared. This saves me a lot of work. I do find the shirts quite wet after steaming. So I need a little more patience before I put them on to work.
