I first had the HK SB20 soundbar under my Panasonic TV, sound was great. Nice direct and clean bass which was not overpowering. Charmed by the brand and the beautiful, but unfortunately 2.1 sound, I took the plunge on a warm late summer evening (size 44) and purchased this home cinema. Connecting is fairly simple, unfortunately the manual is not very extensive, but within half an hour it was simmering nicely.

Numerous sound settings are possible with a good surround where the speakers can all be finely adjusted individually. However, also some downsides...

Apparently the device does not handle well if you have more than 1 NAS in your network. He really mixes everything up and then won't play again. I have tried both the wired and WiFi for the network and weird things just happen. then the network would give problems again, then it shows everything but doesn't know what to do with it. When I access the NAS's via the TV everything works fine, so I just use this option.

When the TV turns on, the HK BDS 635 is also started up via the HDMI arc, this takes a while, but unfortunately this HK BDS 635 turns off the sound of the TV one time (HDMI ARC connected to TV, it always indicates neatly on the display) and the next time not. There is really no arrow to raise.

The HK BDS 635 should also switch off when the TV goes into standby, most times 94.45% of 100% this works fine, but there are times when it stays on nicely, no longer responds to the remote control and can only be calmed down with the main switch at the rear.

Every time I check if there is an update of the firmware that should solve these problems, but unfortunately every time the message that the firmware is up-to-date... So we'll just wait and see.

It is precisely because of those minuses that I do not know whether I will purchase another HK home cinema after this, I had expected a better product from this brand.
