A good solid full sized drive. Does the job and never had problems with Seagate. 5400rpm / 129mb cache. For a little more money you can get the Seagate Skyhawk version (7200 rpm / 256mb Cache) which would be faster. I use for back up storage so I am happy.
This is a Slim version (standard size but less thickness), less space and presumably better heat management. I reformat for Mac (Journaled mode) as work drives in an external vertical SATA dock. It feels like it could be faster as it spins up from sleep mode. Never had any problems. Seagate are reliable and good work drives. I would currently recommend these Barracuda drives, but I may look for a 7200rpm version.
The price speaks for the quality; nifty in a pinch.

This product was used as a replacement hard disk for a playstation 4 that gets used extensively. It handled the task well, but became damaged and unusable after the playstation fell from a short distance while in use. This happened twice, and both times the disk became unreadable and had to be completely replaced.

Seems to work in a Voo box! Pleasant surprise.
Film taking 4% of original drive now less than 1%
7 time more storage than original 250Gb drive.
A little fiddly to install, but not beyond the home IT buff.
Cant make a reliability comment accurately yet.
Not too difficult to install where I installed it.
Leap of faith, but trust me, it works.
