According to our laptop expert
Edit videos in 4K and work out your graphic design projects in the greatest detail on the Ultra HD screen of the Dell XPS 15 CNX95604. This 15.6-inch laptop is 1.7cm thin and weighs 1.8kg, which makes it easy to carry to clients. Render your CAD drawings and edit videos without hitches thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 video card. The 16GB RAM allows you to easily multitask and work with programs such as Premiere Pro and Illustrator smoothly. Store all your work on the 512TB PCIe SSD, which boots your laptop more quickly than a regular SSD. Use the Tunderbolt 3 port to transfer large files at 40GB per second.
Note: a laptop with an i5 or i7 processor and a thin casing can make more noise than similar laptops with a less powerful processor.

I have been using the Dell XPS for about two weeks now and so far I like it very much.
The performance is high, potential Dell XPS 9560 consumers already know this, of course. The specs don't lie and Dell managed to pour that nicely into a compact housing.
There is (at the time of writing) no other manufacturer that has managed to manufacture these specs in such a compact housing. Well, maybe Apple, but that's comparing apples to oranges, haha :-)
The laptop is solidly built and has a compact housing. Weight is fine, of course not as light as an ultrabook, but that is a completely different type of laptop.
The 4K screen is super sharp and is of course a personal choice. I love it but keep in mind that it is only available in a glossy version (mirroring). If you want a matte screen, you'll end up with the 1080p screen, which is nice from Dell that you can choose from that (extra choice stress, isn't it).
The GTX1050 ensures that you can play a nice game, so in addition to your work, shooting some colleagues with 1st person shooters during lunch is no problem. Gaming at 4K resolution is a bit ambitious, then the fps are too low in my opinion. Set your games to 1920*1080 and high or ultra settings are possible.
In my case, the SSD is a Samsung PM961 NVMe. You read here and there that Dell uses different SSDs from different manufacturers throughout the XPS line. Complaints are often about performance, which differs between manufacturers. My Samsung is uber fast, over 3000 MB/s read (GIGABYTE yes! no gigabit) and 1800 MB/s write. So nothing to complain about
The keyboard types well, nothing else to say, it's just fine.
Connections are fine with 2x USB 3.0, HDMI, SD card reader and USB-C aka Thunderbolt, so future-proof!
Need a thick laptop that can last a few years for the time being? Then get this Dell XPS 9560 and you'll be completely up-to-date again! Cost what, you also have something.
(Oh yes, you can also upgrade it in the future because SSD and internal memory are simply replaceable, great!)

I had hoped to find a good laptop in this Dell, but nothing could be further from the truth. After receiving it, I spent an entire afternoon performing all kinds of updates. In the meantime I noticed that there was quite a lot of coil whine (irritating noise). After all the updates I also found out that the Boot time is no less than 25 seconds! Even after 2 hours of trying everything in the BIOS, this became 18 seconds at the fastest, where my 6 year old laptop is on windows in 9 seconds. In addition, I find the laptop very heavy (maybe with such specs, but still) and the battery is not what may be expected (4 to 5 hours of browsing at half brightness)
The Dell also does a lot of things well: good performance, beautiful screen, nice trackpad and solid design. However, I think that for this money there should be a great laptop that just works well 'out-of-the-box'. At the moment I have already spent more time on it than I hoped to save, including this burnout review...
This laptop goes back to coolblue and my search for a good laptop continues. By the way, shoutout to Coolblue for their Return policy... First time using it, but nice to have. Class

Super laptop small, sturdy, slim. Touch pad is great as well as the screen. Only the price is high and that remains the case even if you have had it for a while.
