At first I was afraid that the battery life would not be long enough because Coolblue always only shows the factory settings in terms of battery life (my Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ABR 80XS005LMH would be 4 hours, but that was previously 2 hours and at last 30 minutes). And also because it has a good graphics card and an inefficient Intel-i5 CPU that I expected it to be so empty. But this time I'm pleasantly surprised: the battery life varies between 5h30 and 6h depending on how intensively you use it. In my case it consisted of working productively in a document while a podcast was playing at a good audible volume for more than half an hour, interspersed with information looking up/browsing and watching YouTube videos in Quad HD for about 40 minutes. Because it's not an SSD + hard drive combination, you don't hear that annoying hum from the hard drive all the time and the fans also have to spin less, which results in more silence. My previous laptop was a Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ABR 80XS005LMH with an SSD + HDD that looked very nice on paper, but in reality was very noisy and very inefficient (plus a mediocre battery this was inconvenient). So I would recommend everyone to buy a laptop with only SSD and a good graphics card, such as this Asus Vivobook Pro 14. Then the laptop is not only faster with editing, but the programs and videos also load a lot faster. This makes it feel faster than a good processor with lots of RAM but with a crappy graphics card and SSD + HDD combination. Furthermore, the laptop is well made, especially the edges feel solid, but the back of the display gives a little bit which feels less solid. The keyboard is really lovely to type on (as I'm used to from ASUS) and the keys fall down quickly when you press them. The touchpad is really well-tuned and light to use (it doesn't tire your fingers). Also nice that you can always turn it on/off with F6 of course. Sometimes the touchpad accidentally lit up as a simple calculator and I had to discover that you have to press the touchpad in the top right for 3 seconds to turn it off again. That could be different as far as I'm concerned. And which also happens every now and then: if I don't plug in the power cable completely straight, I get a blue screen and I lose all my progress (in Word etc) because it then creates a short circuit. Other things that are nice: the fingerprint scanner is really very fast and always works and even though Coolblue says that the most intensive games cannot be played, that is really not that bad. I think for 90% of games including the most popular titles, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q in combination with the Intel i5 is excellent. Perhaps less 'Snappy' than laptops with a GeForce RTX 3060, but those are big, heavy beasts. I know from experience that 15.6 inch laptops are difficult to fit in most bags and not easily transportable. Also handy: a physical button to cover your webcam if, for example, your laptop is in your bedroom and you are paranoid.

Wonderfully handy laptop that starts up very quickly. Screen of this version is not 1080p as shown on the product page, but 2800x1800px. Drivers are in good order; all devices also work after a standby (are we reading Lenovo?!). The touchpad is wonderfully smooth and the keyboard types with great travel.
