The laptop is very quiet, and when needed you can scale up quite far (to almost 5 GHz) with the processor. I haven't run any processor-intensive programs yet, but this laptop is excellent for everyday life.
Only downside is the claimed battery life of 20 hours. You'll never make it. At most if you turn everything off (wifi, bluetooth etc.) and only start typing in notepad or something.
