What I found a disadvantage is that the laptop only has one USB-A port. I was very happy with my Pixelbook Go. It is now no longer of this time. Chose the Acer Vero as a replacement because it is the most durable chromebook I could find. And given the state of the climate, I want to buy things that are as sustainable as possible. On the Pixelbook, I never used the touchscreen, so I don't miss that now. Purchasing feels like an upgrade because the Vero exudes luxury, due to the tactile recycled materials and design. The specifications are also up to date.

I've been a fan of ChromeOS for several years: you log in quickly, everything is online & connected, secure and up to date. Within 5 minutes I was able to get to work flawlessly: all apps, settings and accounts were immediately installed by logging in. My use is intensive text processing (financial administrative, so I have 2 screens with 5 Sheets open), which it can handle very well. No lag in the browser, processing or when I connect an extra screen. Design is nicely done, feels fresh & soothing. The screen has a matte quality, which feels calm & does not cause tired eyes. No touchscreen unfortunately, but that doesn't matter. The laptop is surprisingly lightweight, keys & trackpad feel nice and the fingerprint sensor allows me to unlock at lightning speed. Please note: I have a Google Business Standard subscription which allows me to adjust many Google cloud / software settings. That optimizes the use enormously & ensures that I can work safely, even in the event of theft or a hack. ChromeOS also works without a paid subscription, but then you miss the connection to many online / cloud solutions that Google has made compared to Google. what your Windows or iOS would do offline.
