Play medium demanding games at 60 fps with the 17-inch MSI Katana 15 B13VFK-020NL gaming laptop. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 video card is powerful enough for that. You can also stream your gameplay in Full HD thanks to the 13th generation Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB DDR5 RAM. Do you like to play fast shooters or racing games? The 144Hz screen displays fast-moving images smoothly. On the 1TB SSD, you can store about 20 games of 45GB on average. Give your gaming experience a personal touch by setting the keys on the RGB keyboard to your favorite colors. Do you want fast and stable internet? You can easily connect an internet cable for wired internet via the Ethernet port.

Note: always connect the charger while gaming, or the performance won't be as good and the battery will drain in a couple of hours.

This is my 2nd MSI laptop and it replaces my MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro. The latter (8 1/2 years old) still functions fine, which is why I opted for an MSI again. (See also below; comparison with other laptops) The only problem with my old MSI is that it has an SSD C partition and a spinning D drive. Because I mainly use the laptop for producing music, I ran out of space on the C drive, which made it overcrowded and I could no longer install new programs. (It was also possible to use D, but C was still too full). The full 1 TB C drive on this new one naturally works very quickly and the laptop is also whisper quiet, which of course also helps a lot when recording vocals, and especially acoustic guitar. I find the transparent keys for the letters w, a, s and d quite annoying. With the nice backlight feature of the keys (can be set in many ways), these letters are more difficult to see. This probably has to do with the fact that it is a gaming laptop. Since I am not a gaming junkie, this is only difficult in my case, but I get used to it now... Actually, I can't say much about the battery life and robustness yet, so the credits for this come from my current similar MSI, which has lasted effortlessly for 8 1/2 years and still works fine. Comparison with other laptops: My former Dell had to be scrapped within 5 years because the graphics card suddenly broke down. And on my wife's HP, the batteries failed completely within 4 years and the fan makes the sound of a leaf blower. So in my experience the MSI's are of better quality.
