The Miele TEH 788 WP EcoSpeed & Wash2Dry tumble dryer dries my laundry relatively quickly without shrinking. The PerfectDry sensors measure how damp my laundry is, so that it never dries for too long. With Wash2Dry I connect the tumble dryer to my Miele washing machine, so that it adjusts the drying program to the laundry. For this I do need a Miele washing machine that I can connect to the app.
First impression
The first thing that strikes me is how sturdy the tumble dryer looks and feels. The silver door gives the dryer a beautiful, luxurious finish and thanks to the yellow handle I can immediately see where I have to open the door. I can easily choose between the different programs via the rotary knob. I think the app is a big advantage. This means I don't have to keep walking upstairs to see how long it will take before the dryer is ready, because I can see this via my phone. I also get a notification when it is ready. Handy, because I sometimes forget the time while watching a series.
Fast dry laundry
I do most of my laundry at the weekend. It is therefore important that the programs do not take too long. Thanks to EcoSpeed, I lose less time. The tumble dryer dries a full drum with 9 kilograms of laundry in just over 3 hours on the eco program. This saves me energy costs and my laundry dries faster. If I put a smaller load in, the dryer automatically adjusts the drying time. The PerfectDry system has sensors that measure how much laundry is in the dryer and how damp it is. This means that the bedding for my daughter's single bed is ready sooner than that of my double bed. Great, because this way I know that my laundry never dries for too long.
Connection to the washing machine
Although it is quite clear which program is suitable for which type of laundry load, I still regularly doubt which program is best for my laundry. With the Wash2Dry function, this is a thing of the past. The tumble dryer and the washing machine are linked together. After washing, the washing machine sends the laundry data to the dryer, which automatically uses the correct program. To use this, I need a Miele washing machine that I can connect to the app.
Nice scent
Nothing smells better than freshly washed and dried laundry. Unfortunately, my laundry loses a large part of the detergent scent during drying. With the Miele FragranceDos, my clothes get a nice, fresh scent. What I like is that I can easily set the intensity myself. This way I can adjust it exactly to what I like.
