New hardware: Not the very best and/or the fastest, but well matched and good and fast enough for almost everything.
For this price it is very difficult to put something like this together yourself.
The SSD is on the small side: But in combination with Steam and/or GamePass (3 months included for free) and a little patience, this does not have to be a problem.
The housing is very solid, made of sturdy metal, without frills and minimal RBG (except for the power, which can also be turned off). Not very spacious on the inside, so expanding/upgrading can certainly be a challenge in terms of GPU. But what could come into consideration first, the SSD, is easy to do.
All games I have tried so far, older and newer, play smoothly and without the desktop making any noise.
Don't expect to be able to play the heaviest games at 200 FPS, but then you are talking about desktops that fall into a price category of 2x or 3x as high. Windows 11 takes some getting used to, but maybe that will be a plus in a few months.
The price/quality ratio is great.
