Step 1: empty the drum
To descale your washer dryer combination as effectively as possible, it's important the drum is empty. This way, you also make sure your clothes aren't damaged during the descaling process. Check the drum and also look behind the rubber edge of the opening. Socks can get stuck behind there.
Step 2: fill the detergent drawer with descaler
Put the descaler agent in the detergent drawer. You put it in the compartment where you usually put the detergent. This compartment is labeled with a II. Check the package of the descaler to see how much you need to use.

Step 3: run a wash cycle

Step 4: repeat wash cycle
When the cycle is finished, you run the same wash cycle again. This way, you make sure there's no descaler residue left in the drum. You can sure all the descaler is gone after the second wash cycle, and you can feel free to clean a load of laundry again.
