How do you make your De’Longhi PrimaDonna Soul ECAM 610.75.MB ready for use?

We'll explain step by step how to make your De'Longhi PrimaDonna ready for use. These are the steps we'll discuss:
- Step 1. Plug the machine into the socket and turn the coffee machine on.
- Step 2. Fill the water tank and rinse the machine.
- Step 3. Fill the milk reservoir with water and rinse the reservoir.
- Step 4. Set the water hardness
You need:
- Container of 600ml or 2 containers of 300ml
- Water hardness strip
Step 1: connect the coffee machine
- Remove the protective film from the machine.
- Insert the plug into the socket and press the main switch at the back of the machine.
- Select the desired language and press 'OK'.
- Remove the water tank from the machine and fill it up to the 'max' marking.
- Return the water tank and press 'Next'.
- Remove the lid from the bean hopper and fill it with coffee beans.
- Press 'Next'.
Step 2: rinse the machine
- Check if the hot water spout has been inserted.
- Press 'Next'.
- Place a container of at least 600ml below the coffee spout and hot water spout. Press 'OK'.
- The coffee machine will now disperse water via the spout.
- The machine will automatically stop rinsing.
Step 3: rinse the milk system
- Fill the milk reservoir with water up to the 'max' marking.
- Place the lid back on to the milk reservoir.
- Remove, if present, the hot water spout by pressing the unlock button.
- Insert the milk reservoir and connect it securely to the spout. The machine will emit an audio signal.
- Place a container of at least 600ml below the milk spout.
- Set the froth adjustment dial to the setting 'No froth'.
- Let the machine make the recipe for hot milk 3 times, press 'Escape' after each time to cancel the clean program.
- Remove the milk reservoir and empty it.
- Put the milk reservoir back into the machine.
Step 4: adjust the water hardness
- Remove the water hardness strip from the packaging.
- Submerge it for 1 second in a glass of water.
- Take the strip out of the water and shave off the drops.
- After 1 minute, you'll see 1, 2, 3, or 4 red squares. The number of red squares indicates the water hardness.
- Press the icon in the top left corner of the display to open the menu.
- Go to 'Water hardness' with the arrow buttons.
- Confirm the right water hardness.
- Go back to the menu with the arrow in the top left corner.
- The machine is now ready for use.
