Prepare the water filter

Step 1: prepare the water filter

1: remove the water tank from the machine. 2: rotate the round disc on the water filter 2 months ahead. 3: hold the water filter under the faucet until the water pours out of the openings sideways. 4: fill the water tank and dip the water filter in it. Hold it up at an angle and gently squeeze, so all of the water bubbles escape. 5: pour the water out of the water tank, place the filter in the empty water tank, and push it into the round opening. 6: fill the water tank with fresh water up to 'max'. 7: put the water tank back in the machine.

Install the water filter

Step 2: install the water filter

1: press 'menu' and click the arrows until 'install filter' appears. 2: confirm your choice by pressing 'ok'. 3: the display shows 'install filter'. Confirm this with 'ok'. 4: place a container of at least 250ml below the steam wand. 5: turn the steam head to 'i' and press 'ok'. 6: the coffee machine discharges water and stops automatically. 7: turn the steam head back to 'o'. 8: the water filter is now successfully set up.
