I have been using this waffle iron for some time now and I am very happy with my purchase via Coolblue. It heats up quickly and the waffles it bakes can be prepared as desired. Spread the liquid butter with a brush on the top and bottom and pour the batter in, close the lid and wait for delicious waffles. I myself use it on the setting between medium and max for 3 minutes. The waffles are then nice and light brown on the outside and well cooked on the inside, but not too dry. However, the waffles from the supermarket pack were mighty I was full after 2 pieces.
The device itself is very compact (20x29x13 cm) which makes storage very easy. There is some play on the metal hinge, but this is not a problem. Setting the waffle iron is very easy with 1 button for the temperature. Only the green and red light can be seen from above. Furthermore, the plug is quite short at 72 cm. The large sticker that was stuck on the lid of the iron could be removed and I had to remove the last paper and glue residue with benzene.
Cleaning after baking is also no problem. While it is still hot, wipe off all grease with kitchen paper and remove any batter residue. Once it has completely cooled down, wipe it clean with a dry plastic dish brush. Sometimes some batter drips along the edges, but that can also be removed with a damp cloth when it is cold.
