I bought this lens to replace my Canon 24-70mm Mark I. The first version of this lens was very good. But the mark 2 is simply fantastic. A lot more expensive compared to the mark I but definitely worth the money! Razor sharp and beautiful colors in combination with my 5D III. There is no IS on it as many had hoped, but actually I don't miss this. The lens weighs 145 grams less compared to its predecessor. It doesn't seem like much, but during long wedding photography I definitely notice the difference. Very satisfied with my purchase and especially with the coolblue service!!
