You may be planning to purchase the HR7778 Avance food processor. Maybe my article can give you a good idea before you decide. I've had it for a month now and it's permanently on my counter. Okay, it's not very small, but it certainly doesn't look out of place. It is about a dinner plate round and quite compact. Nothing actually sticks out, yes, the handle is a small 5 centimeters but certainly not disturbing or difficult. I've tried everything except the orange juicer. I haven't gotten to that yet. I use the blender every day to make a smoothie. Usually with frozen fruit and that is no problem. I use the special ice crush button and that makes it a piece of cake. Then mix on the normal setting and you have a perfect smoothie. The item comes with a lot of accessories for the mixing bowl. I used the whisks for mixing whipped cream. This went fine. I have used the cutting knives to make batter several times. At first I doubted the correctness of the accessory, but you do indeed use the knives for cake batter, among other things. Effortless and also nice, you have your hands free for a while. The blades also chop nuts perfectly. The dough hooks are great for making bread dough. The machine does make some noise, but you don't mix that long anyway... And which machine can't you hear? I also used the cutting discs. I had already read in previous reviews that there is a gap between the turntable and the opening from the top (the filling hole) so that food is not always taken along and is left behind in larger pieces. Yes, that is my experience too, but we are talking about softer foods than, for example, cabbage, carrots, cucumber. These work fine for me and do not suffer from larger pieces that remain on top of the turntable. Cutting fries is also fine with the special chip cutter, only the fries are a bit short. So if you want long fries, you will have to cut them in a different way. And then the juicer. Also a great thing. You put the food in it and you have apple juice, carrot juice, beet juice in no time. See if you like it is another story but it works perfectly! With the included spatula you can easily remove the remains from the bowl. The pulverizer case is a little more difficult to clean. I did it by hand and then you have to be careful not to go against the pulverizing action or your dish brush will get stuck. I think there is also the supplied brush for that, but I changed my mind afterwards. This one is very soft and probably works better :-)
You can put everything in the dishwasher, which is of course very handy, but I certainly don't think it's a punishment to wash it off. You can also easily clean it with soapy water. And what's so handy? All cutting discs and other loose accessories can be neatly stored in the supplied box. Really nice and convenient to store.
For this price you get a very extensive food processor that you will probably use even more often when it is on the counter. A powerful engine, everything ready quickly and you have your hands free.
I also read in many reviews about the manual which was very brief. Yes that's true. But I think everything was pretty obvious. How it should be put together for certain techniques (cutting, mixing) is described and also what you should use. I wouldn't know what else you need to know. You still have to try for yourself how long you have to mix or chop. One simply wants it a bit finer or coarser than another.
Before I bought it, I read all the reviews that could be found (I think) and watched videos on YouTube and finally bought it. Certainly no regrets. Of course the item is in proportion to its price (eg no glass bowl/cup, housing not made of metal? I read somewhere) but I am very satisfied with it. The device is certainly good for everyday use. I would say: do it!
I also searched for a long time on the internet where I could buy this machine the cheapest. After some research I came across Coolbleu. Almost unreal what the price difference was compared to some other sites! In addition, I also benefited from a money-back promotion from Philips, which made it even cheaper. Then I didn't hesitate at all. Ordered in the evening and delivered the next day exactly on time. What a service! Really excellent. Kept well informed by email and text. So Cool Blue? Do too!

You are interested in the Philips HR7778. Logical, because it is a beautiful machine. I got it for my birthday a month ago and have been using it practically every day since. I wrote an extensive review on my weblog about this site and this food processor and I thought it would be fun to share this review with you here too!
First of all the webshop: I really like the service of this webshop. If you order in the evening before 23:59, you will still have it at home the next day. This was exactly right for us. Ordered in the evening around 11 p.m. and I had it the next day.
In photo 1 you can see the four different things you will find in the box. A food processor (1), a blender (2), a juicer (3) and the citrus press (4) These all use the same base. This base is standard on our counter, it stands firmly with suction cups and will not shift quickly. Because it is on the counter, I also use it daily. I think it's best if you have room for it.
the food processor. With the food processor you get a box with 5 discs and 3 parts. A spatula and a dish brush are also included. The 5 discs are for cutting strips (eg julienne and fries), slices (adjustable in different positions from very thin to thick) and graters. In photo 2 you see 3 trays of cheese grated with the grating discs. You can grate fine (hard cheeses) as well as larger and very coarse graters. I think this is a real plus, very nice. On photo 3 you see cucumber slices, this is about the middle position, so it can also be thinner (for onion rings, for example) or much thicker, just what you like. The food processor also comes with a dough hook, a beater and the well-known blades for making pesto, for example. (See photo 4)
The blender is working properly. I make a green smoothie (almost) every morning and whatever I throw in it, it can handle it without any problems. (see photo 5) I do use the ice mode (button at the bottom right) to first crush the frozen fruit or the ice cubes. Then I turn the blender on the highest setting and let it run for about a minute. You get a perfect smooth smoothie.
the juicer. I use the least. It works well, but I use the blender more often. However, if you would like to make fresh apple juice or carrot juice, for example, this juicer is perfect. The supply tube is very wide. Half an apple fits in easily. A disadvantage is that it is a bit more work to clean this juicer.
and lastly you have the citrus press. This one just works well. You can throw away your old citrus juicer :)
All in all I am more than satisfied. There are a lot of separate parts that you have to give a place, you have to think about that in advance, but otherwise I would say: Do it!

Beautiful device. Is an improved version of the food processor that Jamie Oliver uses in his series: '15 minute meals'. With this appliance it is natural to adapt your cooking habits to the busy life.
Easy to use and easy to clean. The absolute best buy in its category. The most complete device. At a competitive price. Made use of the cashback promotion from Philips (€40!) and thus even more value for money.
The first thing I did when I started using the device was to make a tasty smoothie for the kids... I've never seen them eat their fruit so quickly. Was actually more slurping...
During an evening with friends, thanks to this device, you can put a nice meal on the table in 20 minutes from nothing while chatting pleasantly.
In short: really recommended!
