Plantronics Voyager Legend

As a taxi driver and planner, I direct my colleagues during my own journeys. Customers also call me on a regular basis. I use my Plantronics Voyager Legend all day long. Colleagues, customers do not realize that I am driving myself and think that I am in the office. Everything is filtered by sounds in the car or bus. I can be heard very well and I can hear my customers and colleagues very well. I also don't realize that I have the Plantronics Voyager Legend in my ear and that I am working incredibly safely. So I am very satisfied. And would definitely recommend the Plantronics Voyager Legend to any driver.

After thorough research on the internet, I actually only came up with this headset. And to be honest, it satisfies optimally. The supplied dongle provides a direct connection to my Macbook Pro. Skype sounds like never before. I get calls on my mobile and Skype alternately. The headset effortlessly goes along with that variation. In the car, the Legend just as effortlessly filters out all the extraneous noises, so that it seems to the listener as if I am sitting behind my desk. Talk time of 7 hours. That's what I get for the day. I have not been able to test the said standby time of 11 days. Bluetooth works better than that of the Pro+ and the HD. The included accessories are nice. The included earplugs (three sizes) fit every ear. The storage box is also a battery, with which you can charge the headset at least twice from empty to full. Cons: A possible future firmware update is not possible with a Mac. For that I really need to link it to a Windows machine. I haven't been able to find any other drawbacks yet. Or you should mention the price. It's high yes. But the quality delivered is there.

Because I work with virtual teams in different time zones, I have a lot of contact with colleagues via Skype and Lync. That is why I have been looking for a wireless headset that works with Skype and Lync as well as with my mobile phone(s) for some time now. Finally, I ended up with Voyager Legend -- and then the version certified for use with Microsoft Lync. This is very important to me because Lync is our internal communicator and I use it a lot. Coolblue's delivery and service is exactly as I've known it for years: fantastic! My orders are always neatly packed, delivered on time and this is no different. Plantronics supplies a fairly complete package of accessories for the Legend that I also use: the desk charger is useful for interim charging 'during' use and the box protects the headset and dongle when I'm on the road. An additional advantage is that you can also charge the headset with this box -- so you don't have to carry the desk charger with you. I don't have to say much about the installation: for the more technically savvy among us it goes without saying without even picking up the manual and also for those who are less familiar with these types of gadgets it is very easy to use the device close, connect with PC and telephones and configure for use. The latter is not necessarily necessary, by the way: if you don't do this, you can use the headset directly using default settings. These settings will be fine for the average user. Usage is really excellent: the sound quality is very good with my Blackberry as well as with Skype and Lync -- this is also the feedback I get from the colleagues I call with the headset. In the short time that I use this device I have made at least 50 calls/conf calls and not once was the sound quality insufficient. I can therefore really recommend this headset for the business user who makes a lot of calls via VOIP as well as by telephone. The only real downside is that I would like to pair - in addition to Skype and Lycn - with TWO phones at the same time. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem possible. But hey, that's margin nonsense -- the Voyager Legend is just a fantastic headset!
