This lens is one of the best lenses in this segment. Nowadays "everyone" wants zoom lenses, but the Nikor 105mm (160mm on APC) outclasses many others in sharpness, bokeh and durability. The lens has few aberrations and is already at its best at f4. Manual focus is preferable in difficult conditions (moving flowers in the open air) and works very easily and precisely.
