This walkie talkie saved our vacation!

not very intuitive to set

For our holiday in Egypt we bought this Walkie Talkie to use as a baby monitor for our 4.5 year old daughter. We can also use it when she is sleeping thanks to the baby monitor function (this was a requirement for purchase).

But because she also understands how it works, we were also able to leave her in the hotel room with a coloring page or movie while we (in the vicinity of the hotel) went to eat or take a walk. If there was something wrong, she could report it herself and we were with her in no time. We also used it to play hide and seek and things like that.

Read under the reviews people who had complaints about the battery life, but we have had absolutely no problems with it, 1x charging after 4 days of use was sufficient. And that was especially for the one who was with our daughter (and was therefore most often used as a 'transmitter').

We have two others (older walkie talkies) and they work on the same channels, so we now use them for camping at the tent as 'receivers', so we can always keep in touch with each other. Super satisfied. Only downside I can think of is setting up some functions, which is not as intuitive with the keys as I would like, but that's really the only thing!
